Difference of Baby Dana and Now Dana

When I 4 years old, I lived in Osaka in Japan. I didn't have western eyelids.
My parents say when i lived in Japan, I could speak Japanese.

Now, I live in Gimpo in Korea, and I'm staying San Diego.
And then I have western eyelids, so many people ask me "Did you undergo plastic surgery?" However I did not.
Now I can't speak Japanese, but if I go back Korea, I will study Japanese.

Only a Person Who Has Dream, Can Dream Come True.

 

‘Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any one thing,’ said Abraham Lincoln. I have had lots of lists of goal since I was kid. I always dream, about what I can do for my future. I have had substantial and various goals in my bucket list but I want to tell some of my goals that makes me satisfied and successful that traveling Europe with my younger brother, to be an accountant and to be brave.

 

One of my goals in my bucket list is traveling Europe with my younger brother before getting married. We have kept a special relationship between him and me. After getting married, I cannot spend enough time with him so I want to make good memories. Also I want to see my European friends who I studied together with at the ALI and introduce them to him. I wish I tried train travel around Europe, had lots of experience about culture and saw natural view.

 

           Moreover, it’s a goal to be an accountant is my near future. When I was insecond grade in my university and studied accounting, I realized that it’s my way. I was so excited and interested about that. I think I have an aptitude for it, I want to get a specialized job because I want to be a career woman, I don’t want to quit after getting married and having kids. If it’s possible, I want to get a certification both in Korea and the United States.

 

Furthermore, the most important goal should be to achieve and keep that I have to be brave in whole my life. Before I do something, I usually think and worry too much. That’s why I’ve missed so many opportunities. I had an opportunity about abroad volunteer to African, when I was in high school. I thought that there would be uncomfortable and I don’t know anyone something like that. It might have been a good opportunity for me. I could have learned and experienced more than now. Sometimes I regret that before I didn’t try something.  From now, I have to do not think too much, just do it and not be afraid and worried about whatever I do. I should keep thinking that it’s a just moment!

 

I am 24 years old, I have to do many kinds of things and achieve things from small to big. I shouldn’t forget and give up on my goals. I have to try to keep dreaming and practicing. In the meantime, I will have grown finally, and I will live satisfied life by myself. 

Spot the difference

These two picture were taken one year ago in my family trip in Australia.

Australia is a big country, like USA and you can find different weather and temperature condition in the same season. In the left one I was in Melbourne Airport in the south east of  Australia and the temperature were colder than in the right picture in which i was in Alice Spring airport in the Red Centre, where there is the famous Uluru, also known as Ayers Rock, that is a large sandstone rock.

If I'm Dreaming My Life

          I’m 30 years old and I’m married. Until today, I did a lot of things that I wanted to do. I graduated from college nine years ago. I worked at several companies. Although my  major is finance, I worked in advertising agencies as an account executive and Turkish Airlines as a flight attendant. I still have many goals to achieve. That’s why I’m in the US and I’m trying to be a better person. As I’ve said I have three goals that I want to accomplish in my life which are, being a good person, having a good family and at the same time being a real traveller.

         First of all my first and most important goal is to be a good person. I mean, to improve myself, to be a honest, scrupulous, optimistic, helpful and self confident person. I believe this is the real success. I know that’s really hard to be but I keep trying. I generally listen to people, try to be patient, keep smiling. I even read books about personal improvement, do yoga… I always try to be a good person in every situation. If I do all these things, I know I always will be healthy, beautiful and happy.

         My second goal is to have a good and happy family. I’ve been married for about a year and a half. My family is very important to me. I’ve no sisters or brothers. We were a small family. That’s why I always want to have a big family. To be happy, at first I should be a good wife. So me and my husband can get inspired from each other. I believe that we can do everything that we want in life together. Raising good children could be one of them. We want to have children in the future. We want to be a big family. I hope we can be good parents.

         My third goal and an expectation from life is that to be a real traveller. It will also make me a more sophisticated person. Because if I travel more, I can communicate with people who live in different countries, learn much more things about their lives. I believe that when I meet different cultures, I will recognize myself clearly. I really want to do it. I guess I can do, because I believe that I’m a clever, funny and sociable person… All I need is to speak English very well; I'm working on it! That’s why I’m in the US.

        In conclusion, I believe I will be a successful and happy person if I can achieve this three goals. All I want in the end is to be able to raise good children who can good, positive individuals for this world. I hope I will have a big and happy family. I hope that everyone will be much happier one day. So the world could be a better place for everyone, with happy and successful people. 

Differences

My dogs' differences

2 years ago, my dogs were born. Then they couldn't stand up completely. They had to spend a lot of time in the cage. They slept alomost all day.

Now, they are adult dogs. They can stand up and live in the free place. They wearing cute clothes and ribbon.

To Make My Satisfied Life

     “The great secret of success is to go through life as a man who never gets used up,” said a famous French philosopher, Albert Schweitzer. The meaning of success depends on each person, but it is a good meaning and everyone wants to succeed. However, to succeed is hard to achieve or keep that situation, and easy to fail. I’m a college student in Japan, and I’m studying English in San Diego, the United States by using a studying abroad program of my Japanese college. My Japanese college is very International because 80 percent of my college teachers are foreigners such as Americans, Australians, and the British, and we learn all subjects in English. It is not easy, but if I keep studying and not give up, some good things will happen. Also, I know that I need to continue making every possible effort to reach all of my goals. The three goals that I want to be successful at are to get enough English skill, to travel a lot of places in the world, and to be a reliable person.

     Firstly, one important goal in my life is to get enough English skill. I want to speak English frequently, and I want to talk with native English speakers without hesitation. To achieve my goal, I’m enjoying my studying abroad in America. In addition, I’m keeping in mind to talk with a lot of people not only Americans but also non-native English speakers. I think that spending time in America is meaningful and important to improve my English skills because I should use English for communication. I think that studying English doesn’t have a limit, so I can continue studying English.

     Secondly, to travel a lot of places in the world is important in my life. I think that if we visit a new place, fresh emotions will come up, and we can be fresh or get something new such as ideas or inspirations. Also, I have interests in other countries’ food or cultures, so I want to know about them in their local places. To achieve this goal, I need to make money and improve my English skill. In addition, I need to know about other countries. Therefore, I should contact with a lot of foreigners, and collect many countries’ information from them and the Internet.

     Finally, to be a dependable person is also an important my goal because one of my ideal personalities is a person who can be trusted by others. In fact, my friends rely on me, so they tell their worries to me, and I give them some advices. I’m very happy about that because I like listening to other people’s stories and helping people such as doing volunteer activities. Therefore, for being a reliable person, I want to be a person who can think about other people more carefully than now. In addition, I want to make good friendships by relying on others.

     In short, mastering English, traveling around the world, and being a trustworthy person are important goals in my life. Montesquieu, a famous philosopher said that “To succeed in the world, one should appear like a fool but be wise.” I want to keep this sentence in my mind because I think that it tells me about the importance of pleasures and sincerity. I know that time and my continual efforts are prerequisite to success, but I also know that to vary the pace of my life is necessary. I truly hope that I can achieve these goals and I can enjoy and be satisfied my life.
