Special Encounter in 2014

    2014 is the most exciting year in my life. I’m a college student in Japan, and I came to San Diego by using study abroad system. I want to praise myself because I chosen San Diego to study English. I think that it was the best choice because I had many special things in here.

     In San Diego, I could meet many people who have fun together, and I could make great and close friends who can keep in touch with forever. Also, I could experience a lot of things such as going to Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Sedona, Los Angels, and Las Vegas. In addition, I ate many foods for the first time, and I did skydiving. My San Diego life is very satisfied because of my wonderful friends and reliable teachers. I’m so happy because I could study English in ALI, and I learned about cultural things and useful knowledge or thinking way for my life.

     In short, I want to learn Korean in 2015. I’m thinking about going to Korea by using an exchanging system in my college. I made some Korean friends in ALI, so I hope that I can meet them in Korea. Also, I want to meet my friends in their countries or Japan. I'm sure that 2014 is memorable year in my whole life. I really appreciate my exciting friends, helpful teachers, and supportive parents.

Think of 2014

For me, 2014 was one of the most exciting years in my lfe. The main reason was to come to San Diego in October.

When I went on to university, I thought about going abroad to study. But, it was hard for me to do it. Although I liked to study English, I couldn't get high score about TOEIC and TOEFL. However, I couldn't give up going abroad to study in America. I quarrelled with my father many times. Finally, I succeeded in persuading him to enable me to go abroad to study. I thought that this argument was good for me. I hadn't argued him, I wouldn't be here now.

In the world, especially in Africa, ebora expanded very quickly. A lot of African were killed by this virus. At present, this virus decreased, but we couldn't disappear it completely. Unfortunately, an American doctor who treated it was killed by it. When I heard this news, I felt that it was very serious incident. I hope that we can disappear this virus soon.

Next year, I hope that I will be able to do a lot of good things and improve my English skill.

Special Year

     This year is special for me because I could come to San Diego and make many friends who are from different countries. Also I can know about different cultures. Since I came here, I can experience many first time things. For example, it was first time to experience Halloween and Thanksgiving day in America. Also it was first time to take buses and trolley. In addition, it was first time to make friends who are from different countries. I really enjoy life in America. I will never forget these experiences.

     Also I think many people around the world cannot forget this year. Ebola was spread widely this year. This makes people anxious. And many people died. Still now, it is terrible disease, so people worry about this. When it came to America, my friends really worried about it. I hope it will disappear and people will be happy. 

2014 was an amazing year for me.I decided to freeze my bussines carrier for a while and ı came to San Diego for studying English.It was tough and risky decision but ı am very satisfied because of this decision.This will be most memorable thing for me in 2014 because ı travelled a lot of beautiful place, meet a lot of friends from different cultures and ı noticed similarities between each other.

Nevertheless, the stadium of the soccer team that ı support has been building in 2014 and almost basic structure has completed so this is another great thing for me related with this year.

I hope ı can have a another great year for 2015.I expect to have a good job that ı feel myself peaceful and important and also ı wish healty year for me, my family, my friends and everyone.Of course ı am looking forward to watch a game in my teams new stadium and expecting them  being champion in soccer league.

New year, new goals, never give up

2014 is finishing...I will remember a lot of special things about this year.

In the world a lot of facts were happened, we usually remember bad historical events, but I tried to recall also positive events for humanity.

First of all two extraordinary and important sport events such as Winter Olympics Games in Sochi, in Russia in February and Fifa World Cup in Brazil last summer.

These are the demonstration how sports join and not divide people from every part of the world, especially this year in Russia which have had a diplomatic issue in Crimea, where a lot of people everyday lose their life. Also in Brazil the World Cup tried to connect people but sometimes is not easy and we have seen a lot of violent mass demonstration against the development of the tournament for summoning the attention of the world about social and working Brazilian problems.

In the second part of the year we have read and watched on the media two new dangerous problems in the world like ebola, that is a disease of humans which can provoke the death, and ISIS that is a terroristic organization from middle east and it are committing a lot of crimes.

In my 2014 I will remember three special things, such as my graduation in Business Management in January, my first employment contract in my life for an internship in a sales department in a Norwegian company called Helly Hansen and in the end this extraordinary experience in San Diego, where I have had the possibility to learn english,  to know a lot of fantastic people from every continent and to see a lot of amazing and gorgeous places.

I hope in 2015 that can find a good job, can have health, and can enjoy my life as always.

Just say thanks

November is gone, December is here and the end of the year is coming... And, all I can say is "thank you God, thank you everyone".

I had a great year, yeah with stress, difficulties, sadness, bad moments, changes and a lot of things that were not really good. But, who cares? There are more things to be thankful:

•I'm healthy, my family is healthy too. 

•I have a place to live, something to wear, I'm not rich but think I have everything I need

•I have a lot of good friends

•I can study in one of the best Mexican's universities

•I'm alive

•Some of my dreams are becoming true

And the list goes on, but what I mean is that everything that happens is a reason to be thankful, also the things that can't look good.

I believe that everything that happens has a reason and that all is for our benefit so we have an easy job: “be thankful”

Now, one of the things that I'm more thankful is the opportunity that I had to studied in SDSU. I'm really grateful for being able to lived and studied in San Diego, it was an awesome experience. Also I'm thankful about all the new friends I met there, really they are amazing people that I will never forget. I had excellent teachers and classmates, I hope see them again and still in contact with all of them.

Thankful for my Precious Friends

     I'm thankful to every things that they made me meet my precious friends in San Diego. I was afraid of making friends before I came America because making friends is difficult to some people. Also, some people feel embarrassing for talking positively to others. I can understand these feelings. In addition,  I almost forget how I made friends when I was a child. In my opinion, I didn't make friends on purpose, so our meeting and being friends are like a destiny. Especially, I met good friends in San Diego.
     We are from different countries, and we have different mother language. However, we can communicate each other in English, we can laugh together, and we can share precious memories together. I'm really satisfying now because I could meet these special friends, I'm learning English, and I can think about new possibilities in myself. Therefore, I think this study abroad is succeeded.
     I really like my friends and I want to keep in touch with them even though we need to go back to our countries.I'm sure that I never forget about my various memories not only special things but also daily life. In addition, I never forget the time when I stayed in San Diego with my precious friends.

Never give up to be thankful

People have a lot of expectations so they want something and after got it they want more&more because of human nature.The most important virtue is being able to give an answers for questions such as who you are, what you have and what is your purpose of life  in my opinion.If people can give an answer for these questions they will be aware of themselves and this will make them more thankful for everything they have.

I  consider my self lucky because ı am peaceful  and  happy  and healty and also ı have the best family ever for me so ı am very thankful about this.ı don't need to have a lot of money or good houses and expensive cars to be thankful  ı just want to be aware of myself.Everytime think about people that suffered by bad faith and find a way to be thankful.

What I am most thankful for.

This picture was taken last year. These guys are parts of my baseball club members. We took part in
high school's  alumni association in Yokohama. In Japan, coming‐of‐age ceremony is held every January. It was so exciting! When I was high school student, I practiced playing baseball hard   almost everyday. Although it was very hard, I learned the importance of friendship and effort.
Therefore, this picture is what I am most thankful for.

I'm thankful to my family and my friend!

I'm thankful to my family that are allowing me to do an incredible and amazing experience that I will never forget in my life. But also thanks to them for all things that they allowed me to do in my childhood, such as I've skied every Weekend and winter vacation since I was three years old, also I've been in more than forty countries and I studied in the best Italian Business School.

Also I'm thankful to my friends with who I spent and share a lot of time, We go out to eat and drink every week, we go on vacation together and we also share good and bad moment. Without them my life wouldn't be the same and I'm so proud to have them like friends.

People Who There Are Around Me

     People who there are around me like family, cousins and my friends are very important for me. My family always listen to my story and give some advice to me. My cousins always make me lough. They are more close than friends. So sometimes I feel comfortable staying with them more than friends. My friends also make me laugh. Also they encourage me. I love them. I love the time when I hang out with my friends. I  always feel thankful to them.

Comparing Two Pictures: Dolphin and Grampus

     I chosen these two pictures that were taken at the same day, the same place, Sea World, and the same person took them. There are some differences and similarities. For example, I'm in these pictures with the same clothes, and pointing animals by left forefinger. In contrast, these animals that are in the pictures are different; first one are grampuses, and second one are dolphins. In addition, in the first picture, I'm standing and in the right side. However, in the second picture, I'm sitting and I'm in the left side. Also, grampuses are less number than dolphins. I think that colors of water are different because first one is sky blue, but second one is looks green.

     I have never contrasted two pictures like this, but it was interesting to think differences between two pictures. In addition, it was my first visit to Sea World, but it was really nice. Therefore, I recommend to go there until you go back your country.

Thank for my friends in America

I love my friends. I spent a lot of time and experienced special moments with them. We went to Grand Canyon last month and we've been to LA for 5 days on Thanksgiving holiday.  We all have different nationality ; Australia, Argentina, Germany, Georgia and Japan. But we always talk and laugh about the same thing. I think that's very beautiful. We have been doing lots of funny things and also sometimes we have disscussed seriously. So for me, they're the most precious friends. 

Until Christmas day, we're going to do "Secret Santa". I'll give a special present to someone and I want to see his or her pleased face. We are very excited. We'll separated about 2 weeks later, but I'll keep in touch with them and visit their countries to see them.

         First, I will show you similarities of these pictures. Both of　pictures have same members. Also these pictures were taken same day. So we wore same clothes. In addition, we are all girls, so both of pictures have only girls. 

         Secondly, I will show you differences. These pictures were not taken same place. One was taken in park, and the other was taken in the game arcade. Also, ① was taken by my cousin, but ② was taken by machine. So ② is little bit different from real face. In addition, when we took picture①, we were playing with water balloon. So we in picture① were little wet. However, we in picture② were completely dry.

I want to compare these two pictures.
These pictures were taken by my friend in San Diego.
Scenery is same, but people's action are different.
I just sat down on the rock and looked camera.
But the guy tried to jump into the sea.
Actually, he just jumped on the ground.
It looks crazy,but this is not dangerous.
When we moved differently each other,pictures changed impression.

Football Game

Same day, same place, same blouse, same girl.

Different time, different zoom, different colors, different things.

Both pictures were taken on November 8th in Qualcomm Stadium in the Aztecs vs Vandals game. Both inside of the Stadium and in the same place with the same cellphone, I can’t remember if it was taken by the same person haha. I'm alone in both pictures and with the same outfit.

The first one was taken in the afternoon before the game and the second one in the evening when the game and the fireworks were finished. In one the weather was very sunny and warn in the other one not, that’s why I had sweater. The second one was closer and it is like green (I don’t know why). Finally in the first I had a different hairstyle and sunglasses.

Compare these two Pictures

First, I want to talk about the similarities in these two pictures. Those two pictures are about dogs. On the left side's picture is as many dogs as on the right side's. Besides, both of them are puppies.  I think those pictures are taking in the morning.  Furthermore, both dogs in each pictures are the same type.

Second, I want to talk about the differences in these two pictures. The dogs on the left side's picture are standing. However, the dogs on the right side's picture are sitting on a chair. There are some flowers on the right side's picture, but there is no flower on the left side's picture.

Cesme

It was a funny and an interesting story, about 4 years ago.
She is one of my best friends; Deniz.

After I had seen this picture on Deniz's wall, I went Cesme (a beautiful city in the South of Turkey) and I saw the same place coincidentally in another time! :)

This two pictures were taken at the same place, with the same pose, but they were taken with different people and in different seasons. Left side of the picture was taken in autumn, right side was taken in spring. She was wearing black clothes, but I were wearing colourful clothes. Left side has the same blue doors, same ground, walls and herbs as right side. On the other hand, right side has a red motorcycle at the back.

Buddies

It’s about three buddies. Erdem, Duygu and Tugce :)

Both of the pictures have same characters and the same pose, but first one is a 'photo' with red background and second one is a 'drawing' with white background. They are almost same. In the first picture you can not see my pony tail and the nicknames of the people, but in the second one you can see my pony tail and our nicknames.

The first picture as was taken in Italy as the second picture. They both have the same cars, but they have different colours. Neither in the first picture nor the second picture I’m inside of the car. In both of the pictures I’m at the outside of the cars. In the second one I have a beanie, I’m sitting on the car and outside of the car is all green. In the first picture I have a coat and the car is in the city. 

Difference of Baby Dana and Now Dana

When I 4 years old, I lived in Osaka in Japan. I didn't have western eyelids.
My parents say when i lived in Japan, I could speak Japanese.

Now, I live in Gimpo in Korea, and I'm staying San Diego.
And then I have western eyelids, so many people ask me "Did you undergo plastic surgery?" However I did not.
Now I can't speak Japanese, but if I go back Korea, I will study Japanese.
